About the RoleAs a CNC Programmer & Operator, you'll be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning and milling machines to manufacture precision-engineered components.
Working with advanced machining technology and tight tolerances, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality products while supporting efficient production and continuous improvement.
What You'll Be DoingYour responsibilities will include:
Programming, setting up, and operating CNC turning and milling machines
Editing and optimising CNC programs using controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar
Manufacturing precision components to tight tolerances
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering specifications
Selecting and managing tooling for machining operations
Machining a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, and bronze
Inspecting finished components using precision measuring equipment
Performing routine machine maintenance and ensuring a clean, safe work environment
Recording production data and maintaining quality documentation
Supporting production deadlines through efficient and accurate machining
We're Looking ForTo be successful in this role, you'll have:
A technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field
Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, CNC Turner, CNC Miller, or CNC Operator
Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Haas, or similar CNC control systems
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Experience working to tight tolerances using precision measuring equipment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Good English communication skills
A proactive attitude with a willingness to continuously develop your technical skills
Advantageous ExperienceCandidate RequirementsSouth African citizen
Willing and able to relocate to Belgium
Good Afrikaans proficiency is essential
Valid passport (or willing to obtain one)
Able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
