Our client is a well-established engineering company at the forefront of industrial automation and process control. As an EC&I Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of electrical, control, and instrumentation systems that ensure operational excellence and reliability.Working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams, you will provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle—from concept design and specification development to commissioning and client handover. This role offers exposure to large-scale industrial projects, advanced technologies, and significant opportunities for professional growth.
Education:
- BEng / BSc / BTech in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or Instrumentation Engineering
- ECSA registration or progress towards professional registration will be advantageous
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering
- Proven experience within industrial, manufacturing, mining, processing, oil & gas, or petrochemical environments
- Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial automation systems
- Experience in control system design, instrumentation selection, and specification development
- Ability to develop P&IDs, control philosophies, loop diagrams, and functional design specifications
- Experience with commissioning, fault-finding, and system optimization
- Knowledge of LV power systems, motor control centres, and field instrumentation
- Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and electrical regulations
- Excellent project coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to multidisciplinary project teams
