Job Summary
We have an urgent vacancy for a Warranty Claims Financial controller with an automotive company
Duties:
- Warranty Claim Administration Audit & Validation: Review repair orders to ensure accurate technical defect reporting, labor times, and operating codes.
- Claim Submission: Compile and process claims flawlessly to meet strict Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) guidelines.
- Claim Rectification: Investigate and recover costs for rejected claims by coordinating with the workshop and finance teams.
- Technical Support: Coach workshop personnel on technical reporting requirements to prevent future job card deficiencies.
- Parts Allocation: Process and assign parts usage through Dealership Manage
- Financial Controls & Reporting Ledger Reconciliation: Reconcile warranty debtors ledger accounts and track outstanding claims against payment variances.
- Daily Costing & WIP: Manage the open Work-In-Progress (WIP) system, complete daily job costing, and assign expenses to the correct accounts.
- Audit Compliance: Maintain precise documentation for both internal and external manufacturer audits to prevent financial penalties.
Requirements
- Experience with Warranty Claims and Finance controlling
- Motor vehicle Dealership experience with brands like Ford, VW, Audi, BMW etc.
- National Diploma/Degree in Accounting/ Finance
- Warranty administration Certificate (Essential)
