Service Advisor
Purpose Of Position
To strive in providing customers with a professional service experience. Whilst ensuring adequate communication between customers, parts, and service departments in achieving customer satisfaction goals.
Minimum Requirements
- Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Aftersales consultant
- Clean criminal record
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ideally reside in Nelson Mandela Bay or surrounds.
Advantageous Requirements
- Computer literate (Office suite)
- Driver’s license
- Motor dealership industry (technical experience)
- Technical Qualification
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare for the arrival of the customer.
- Taking care of customer at initial consultation upon arrival
- Ensure accurate Warranty and Motor plan details on system.
- Update Dealer Management System, track all vehicles and update control systems.
- Liaise with customers.
- Ensure accurate invoice payments.
- Vehicle hand over
- Customer follow – up and reminders (if not done by capacity planner)
- Attend weekly service meetings.
- Bookings
- Teleservice cases
- Recall campaigns
- Admin reports
- Phoning for authorities
- Job card preparation
- Any ad hoc admin/ other responsibilities as and when required.
