We’re Hiring: Press Brake Operator (Johannesburg) Are you a precision-driven professional with a passion for metal fabrication? Join our team and put your technical expertise to work! What you’ll be doing: Set up, program, and operate CNC and/or manual press brake machines to produce components to specification ? Interpret engineering and fabrication drawings and follow work instructions ? Select appropriate tooling, punches, dies, and machine settings for bending operations ? Perform bending and forming of steel, stainless steel, and other materials to required dimensions and tolerances ? Conduct first-off inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring equipment ? Measure, mark, and verify dimensions using verniers, tape measures, and angle gauges ? Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and production efficiency ? Identify and report defects, non-conformances, and equipment malfunctions ?️ Operate material-handling equipment and overhead cranes safely (where authorised) ? Maintain tooling and ensure machines are cleaned and inspected regularly What we’re looking for: Proven experience in CNC press brake programming and operation Familiarity with Amada, Durma, Trumpf, Bystronic, SafanDarley, or similar CNC press brakes A detail-oriented, safety-conscious professional who takes pride in precision work Please send detailed send detailed CV in Word format, including, last salary and reason for leaving.Error!
