Job Summary
The Wine Lounge is looking for a fixed term Wine Lounge Runner to assist the kitchen staff and ensuring that the Wine Lounge in cleaned and tables are set before guests arrive. We are looking for someone who will have the patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Clean the kitchen and front of house
Clearing tables of glasses, plates, etc
Taking platters out from the kitchen to be served
Assisting the wine lounge cook with plating, polishing glasses and washing dishes
Collecting all water bottles
Ensure that the bins are empty out before and end of service
Keeping the fridges in the kitchen stocked up
Setting up the tables outside in the mornings
Polishing the spittoons
Problem solving and “get it done” attitude
Make sure that the guest has the best possible experience and stay
To provide Delaire standard treatments to guests
Make sure that all displays are presented fresh, clean and eye catching
Be very knowledgeable about the Delaire product and experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
Grade 12
Own transport/Reliable transport
Preferably 1- 2 years previous working experience
Excellent interpersonal- & communication skills
Strong customer service orientation
Comfortable in dealing with very distinguished clientele
Must be well-presented
Willing to work flexible hours
Enthusiastic personality
