HEAD CHEF – MOZAMBIQUE
Salary: R55,000 – R60,000 per month + Accommodation
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a busy, high-volume restaurant in Mozambique.
We are seeking a dynamic culinary professional with strong leadership skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a proven track record of managing large kitchen operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Head Chef in a large, high-volume restaurant
- Strong kitchen management and leadership experience
- Excellent menu planning, food costing, and stock control skills
- Proven ability to manage and develop kitchen teams
- Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Must be willing to relocate to Mozambique
- Ideal age range: 30 – 35 years
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all kitchen operations
- Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team
- Ensure consistent food quality and presentation
- Manage food costs, stock levels, and supplier relationships
- Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Develop and implement innovative menu offerings
- Ensure efficient service delivery during high-volume operations
Package:
