Job Summary
Job title: Kitchen Manager
Location: Polokwane
Salary: R28 000 – R35 000
Job Duties:
- Manage and oversee all kitchen operations
- Supervise and train kitchen staff
- Ensure food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Control food costs, stock, and ordering
- Maintain health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Develop menus in collaboration with the Head Chef / Executive Chef
- Handle kitchen scheduling and staff performance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Culinary qualification (advantageous)
- Strong background in hospitality or restaurant management
