GENERAL MANAGER

A leading supplier of premium hospitality guest amenities is seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager to lead the overall business, drive profitability and ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Provide overall strategic and operational leadership across the business.
Drive revenue growth, profitability and business development.
Oversee sales, procurement, warehousing, inventory, distribution, finance and customer service.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, costs and financial performance.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and processes.
Lead, motivate and develop management teams and employees.
Build strong relationships with hotel groups, lodges, guest houses, distributors and key stakeholders.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and service delivery.
Manage risk, governance and regulatory compliance.
Serve as the company's Section 16(2) Officer, ensuring compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and maintaining a strong safety culture.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Management, Commerce, Operations Management or related field.
8–10+ years' management experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Proven track record in business operations, commercial performance and achieving financial targets.
FMCG, manufacturing, distribution, hospitality supplies or related industry experience advantageous.
Strong understanding of Occupational Health & Safety and Section 16(2) responsibilities.
Strong commercial, financial, strategic and people leadership skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and business management systems.
MBA or postgraduate qualification advantageous.
