Fine Dining | Northern Suburbs Wine Estate
An established fine dining restaurant based within a premium wine estate in the Northern Suburbs is currently recruiting for a Chef de Partie to join its culinary brigade.
The kitchen operates on structured rotational shifts (08:00–15:00 or 15:00–22:00) with two off-days weekly.
Due to the estate location and shift requirements, candidates must reside within the Northern Suburbs and have their own reliable transport (non-negotiable).
Key Responsibilities
• Take responsibility for a designated section (hot or cold)
• Prepare and present dishes in line with Head Chef standards
• Maintain consistency in portioning and presentation
• Ensure hygiene and food safety standards are upheld
• Assist with stock control and section organisation
• Support other sections during service when required
Minimum Requirements
• Formal culinary qualification (essential)
• 1–3 years’ experience in a professional kitchen
• Experience running a section advantageous
• Good understanding of hygiene and kitchen procedures
• Ability to work under pressure
• Own reliable transport (non-negotiable)
Remuneration
Full-time position
Starting salary: From R8 000 (dependent on experience)
