Mirna Butler Recruitment is recruiting for our client, a reputable facility based in Perth, Western Australia. This opportunity is ideal for skilled butchers who are ready to take their expertise abroad and build a stable future in Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform precise and efficient meat cutting, boning, and trimming
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
- Operate and maintain butchery equipment
- Work as part of a team to meet production targets
- Ensure compliance with Australian meat processing regulations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a butcher (blokman) in a commercial environment
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of meat cuts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
- Willingness to relocate to Australia
- Experience in export abattoirs will be advantageous
Remuneration:
- Annual salary between AUD $75,000 and $85,000
- Plus 12% superannuation (employer contribution to retirement fund)
