Mirna Butler Recruitment is recruiting for our client, a well-established facility based in Perth, Western Australia. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Abattoir Manager who is ready to take the next step in their career and work abroad.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the abattoir, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and regulations
- Manage production targets, staff performance, and operational efficiency
- Implement and maintain health, safety, and hygiene protocols
- Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, and quality assurance teams
- Lead and develop a diverse team in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in abattoir or meat processing management
- Strong leadership and operational skills
- Knowledge of international food safety standards
- Willingness to relocate to Australia
- Relevant qualifications in meat processing or production management will be advantageous
Remuneration:
- Annual salary between AUD $75,000 and $85,000
- Plus 12% superannuation (employer contribution to retirement fund)
