Job Summary
Our client, a well-established and reputable business based in Bloemfontein, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Fleet and CCTV Controller to join their team. This role is ideal for an organised individual with strong coordination and administrative skills, responsible for managing vehicle operations, ensuring fleet efficiency, compliance, and supporting the smooth delivery of products.
Minimum requirements
- Matric
- Proven experience in fleet control, fleet administration, or logistics coordination (advantageous)
- Experience in monitoring and managing CCTV systems will be highly advantageous
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Good understanding of vehicle tracking systems, route planning, and fleet optimization
- Knowledge of health, safety, and road traffic regulations
- Basic technical understanding of CCTV systems and monitoring procedures
- Computer literacy, including MS Office and fleet management systems
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities
Skills required
- Strong fleet coordination and vehicle management skills to ensure efficient daily operations
- Ability to monitor vehicle movements, routes, and driver behavior using tracking systems
- Attention to detail to maintain accurate logs, reports, and compliance records
- Good problem-solving skills to handle breakdowns, delays, and operational challenges
- Knowledge of road safety regulations and basic vehicle maintenance requirements
- Effective communication skills to liaise with drivers, management, and external service providers
- Time management and organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet operational deadlines
- Basic computer literacy, including MS Office and fleet management software
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure

Duties and responsibilities
- Monitor and coordinate all fleet operations, including vehicle movements, schedules, and route planning
- Ensure compliance with road safety regulations, company policies, and fleet management procedures
- Manage and maintain CCTV systems, monitoring live feeds and recording footage for security and operational purposes
- Track and report on vehicle usage, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and driver performance
- Liaise with drivers, transport teams, and management to resolve operational issues promptly
- Maintain accurate records of fleet activities, incidents, and CCTV reports
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure proper maintenance of vehicles and equipment
- Respond to emergencies, accidents, or breakdowns and take appropriate action
- Assist with fleet planning, including allocation of vehicles, optimization of routes, and cost control
- Provide reports and insights to management regarding fleet efficiency, security monitoring, and operational improvements
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security protocols in all fleet and CCTV operations

Monday - Friday: 07h00 - 17h00
