The successful candidate will play a vital role in driving sales growth, increasing profitability, and ensuring long-term sustainability within targeted export markets.
Key Responsibilities
Identifying and developing new business opportunities within Sub-Saharan Africa
Planning, designing, and implementing effective sales strategies to meet market demand
Retaining, managing, and growing existing distribution partners while developing new relationships
Ensuring all sales and marketing activities are executed within agreed budgets and timelines
Proactively identifying and resolving challenges that may impact export procedures and activities
Continuously reviewing distributor performance to ensure maximum growth and profitability
Working closely with distribution partners to ensure sales teams are trained and fully equipped to represent the brand
Attending trade shows and industry events to represent the brand and expand product exposure
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ senior sales experience within the PPE / Safety Gear environment (essential)
Bachelor’s Degree (BCom, BBA, or equivalent)
Previous export sales experience (advantageous)
Comprehensive understanding of export processes and procedures
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships at all levels
Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
Proven ability to work in a target-driven environment and manage priorities effectively
Exceptional time management and organisational skills
Computer proficiency with the ability to maintain and update sales reports
Self-managed, highly driven, and results-oriented
Willingness to travel - travel expected every second week
