Our client in the Marine / Industrial sector is looking for an experienced and dynamic Sales Executive to join their growing team based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements:
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Tertiary qualification in Sales, Business, Marketing, or related field advantageous
- Proven sales track record, within the marine, boating, engineering, or manufacturing industries - non -negotiable
- Strong prospecting, networking, and account management abilities
- Experience with proposal writing, quotations, presentations, and CRM systems
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to travel when required
- Strong commercial, sales, and financial acumen
Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development
- Secure new business and grow existing customer accounts through relationship-driven sales strategies
- Expand the company’s footprint across Africa by developing and strengthening representative networks
- Identify, research, and develop new prospective customers within the assigned territory
- Present and demonstrate products/services while advising customers on optimal solutions
- Prepare professional quotations, proposals, and presentations
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize market growth and profitability
- Collaborate with internal departments including Marketing, Logistics, Technical Services, and Finance
- Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and market opportunities
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Resolve customer queries, complaints, and after-sales matters efficiently
- Provide regular market and customer feedback to management
- Represent the company at trade shows, conventions, and industry events
Reporting and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company sales policies and ethical standards
- Submit accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to the Commercial Manager
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and customer engagement
- Recommend product and service enhancements based on customer and market feedback
