Job Summary
A leading jewellery brand is seeking a Field Sales Representative based in Port Elizabeth to manage and grow retail accounts across the Eastern Cape.
This role combines sales, merchandising, training, and account management, requiring a hands-on, relationship-driven individual who can drive revenue while maintaining strong in-store execution standards.
Requirements:
- Matric
- Valid driver’s licence
- Own reliable and fuel-efficient vehicle
- Willingness to travel regularly
- Strong sales and customer service orientation
- Ability to work independently and manage territory
- Sales / field sales / merchandising experience
- Retail, beauty, health, or pharmaceutical industry exposure
Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain and grow an existing customer base
- Build strong, long-term client relationships
- Identify and secure new business through cold calling and prospecting
Sales and Order Generation
- Drive proactive sales across the full product range
- Analyse stock levels and recommend replenishment
- Upsell and increase order volumes
- Achieve and exceed sales targets
In-Store Execution
- Maintain and clean display stands
- Ensure optimal product placement and visibility
- Set up and refresh marketing materials
- Secure promotional and in-store marketing opportunities
Training and Service Delivery
- Train retail staff on application procedures
- Ensure correct hygiene, technique, and service standards
- Support stores in delivering consistent customer experiences
Account and Head Office Engagement
- Manage relationships with retail chain head offices
- Conduct structured store and head office visits
- Complete required visit-based activities
Events and Promotions
- Represent the company at trade shows and events
- Participate in weekend promotional activities when required
Travel Requirements
- Travel for one full week per month
- Additional overnight travel required
- Company covers fuel, accommodation, and meals within limits
