We are looking for Software Sales Consultant who specialises in Insurance. The successful candidate should be a hunter who will lead the planning and execution process of selling, qualifying, and closing of large and/or difficult opportunities. He or she will act as a subject matter expert on both the company and competitor offerings and services. Graduate or Postgraduate in Finance or business studies having 10-12 years of software sales experience (within the IT industry) with 3-5 years of specialised experience in the Insurance industry. Must have a proven track record in software license and services sales. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to interact with senior management (C-level), staff and third parties professionally. Have existing relationships in the Insurance industry. Must read, write and speak fluent English and another South African language. Experience in the bid process and preparation of sales proposals. Ability to work as part of a team or individually. Achieve Demand generation and Sales to the Insurance industry for the following (and not limited to) products and services to insurance in designated territory: Core Insurance administration system covering Life, General Insurance, Group, Pensions and Reinsurance; Point of Sales and Mobility solutions; Business Analytics; Application Management Outsourcing; Imaging and Document Managing: Licenses sales of DXC partner solutions and services; Integration Services around front-end / Back-end e.g. Portals and Middleware. Sales Quota: Covering license, support services, implementation services, and application management services in designated territories. Alliance: Collaborating with partners to package complimentary applications and solutions like SAP, Opentext, AWD etc. Mentoring less experienced personnel in sales.
