ENVIRONMENT:
DRIVE new customer acquisition and consistent revenue growth for the Tech division of a dynamic ICT Service Provider in Somerset West. You will create new business opportunities through daily outbound prospecting across calls, email, LinkedIn, and networking and building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities. The successful candidate must have 4-5 years relevant experience in a similar role with a willingness to do outbound prospecting consistently. Is comfortable with rejection and performance-based environments, possesses strong communication skills and has the ability to work within a structured sales process & a commitment to maintaining CRM accuracy.
DUTIES:
Prospecting and Pipeline Creation -
· Be responsible for consistently creating new business opportunities. This includes:
Ø Daily outbound prospecting across calls, email, LinkedIn, and networking.
Ø Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Ø Identifying target clients and creating entry points into conversations.
Ø Maintaining consistency in outreach and follow-up.
Discovery and Qualification -
· Lead structured conversations with potential clients. This includes:
Ø Running discovery calls to understand business needs and challenges.
Ø Qualifying opportunities based on fit, urgency, and commercial value.
Ø Asking clear, structured questions to uncover real problems.
Ø Focusing time on high-value opportunities.
Solution Presentation and Closing -
· Convert opportunities into paying customers. This includes:
Ø Presenting solutions clearly and confidently.
Ø Guiding prospects through the decision-making process.
Ø Handling objections with logic and value, not discounting.
Ø Closing recurring monthly agreements.
CRM Discipline and Pipeline Management -
· Maintain accurate and structured pipeline visibility. This includes:
Ø Logging all activities, notes, and next steps in Zoho CRM.
Ø Maintaining clean and accurate pipeline stages.
Ø Following up consistently on all active opportunities.
Ø Ensuring no deals are lost due to lack of follow-through.
Relationship Building and Market Presence -
· Build trust and credibility in the market. This includes:
Ø Building relationships with business owners and decision-makers.
Ø Attending networking opportunities where relevant.
Ø Maintaining a professional and credible personal presence.
Ø Generating referrals and introductions where possible.
REQUIREMENTS:
