Job Summary
A leading water purification solutions company is looking for an experienced Senior Salesperson with strong experience in technical sales, customer relationship management, and solution-based selling to join their team in Cape Town. This role requires a high-calibre individual with a proven sales track record, exceptional product knowledge, and the ability to identify and close new business opportunities across residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural markets.
Responsibilities:
Drive new business development through proactive lead generation and market expansion.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure high service levels and identify upsell opportunities.
Provide expert product advice on water purification systems, including point-of-use, point-of-entry, borehole treatment, and industrial solutions.
Conduct thorough needs assessments and recommend suitable products or systems.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial engagement to deal closure.
Stay up to date with product developments, technologies, and industry trends.
Work independently, managing your schedule and sales pipeline effectively.
Collaborate with a highly motivated team to support overall business growth.
Requirements:
Grade 12 Senior Certificate.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in sales administration or sales.
Strong technical orientation; plumbing, electrical, or engineering background advantageous.
Retail sales experience required.
Excellent communication skills with strong customer service focus.
Proficient in computer literacy and administrative accuracy.
Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
Must have own reliable transport.
Well-presented and professional.
