1. New Business Prospecting Identify and engage potential new clients that fit Ideal Customer Profile. Activities include:
- LinkedIn outreach
- email outreach
- networking events
- industry events
- referrals
- cold calling
- leveraging BNI and business networks Target clients:
- Johannesburg businesses
- 10–50 white collar employees
- Microsoft 365 environments
- owner-managed or strong MD decision maker
2. Meeting Generation Secure meetings with qualified decision-makers. These meetings introduce cybersecurity positioning and lead to the 15-minute Cybersecurity Assessment. Responsibilities include:
- identifying correct decision makers
- securing appointments
- ensuring qualified prospects attend meetings
- preparing the prospect before the meeting
3. Pipeline Development Maintain an active and visible sales pipeline. Responsibilities include:
- managing prospects inside CRM
- updating pipeline stages
- maintaining accurate contact records
- tracking all communications The Sales Executive must maintain a disciplined pipeline management process.
4. Lead Qualification Ensure prospects meet the company’s Ideal Customer Profile. Qualification criteria include:
- business size
- technology environment
- decision-maker accessibility
- cybersecurity awareness
- budget alignment Unqualified prospects should not consume founder time.
5. Relationship Development Build relationships with prospects over time. Activities include:
- follow-ups
- sharing relevant insights
- maintaining contact
- developing referral opportunities
6. Sales Process Support Support the founder-led sales process. Responsibilities include:
- preparing prospects for assessment meetings
- attending selected client meetings
- documenting meeting notes
- coordinating follow-up actions
