Technical Sales & Operations Lead (Counter & Parts)
Busy Lawnmower Shop in Boksburg seeks an experienced, results-driven leader to manage our parts counter and daily sales operations. This key management-track role demands strong technical knowledge, proven sales ability, and professional leadership skills.
Compensation & Schedule
Salary: R15,000 – R25,000 p/m (DOE)
Commission: Competitive, based on overall performance
Schedule: Must work every Saturday and some public holidays
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Lead the counter team, train staff, and coordinate with workshop assistants/mechanics.
Sales & Service: Manage complex customer inquiries, diagnose mechanical issues, and ensure expert, profitable parts and service sales.
Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales, inventory, and productivity.
Operational Standards: Uphold excellence in professionalism, inventory management, and customer service.
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
3+ years of proven sales experience in a leadership or supervisory role.
Strong working knowledge of small engine mechanics (2-stroke & 4-stroke).
High professionalism, reliability, and conflict-resolution skills.
Strong computer proficiency (Excel, POS systems) and report management experience.
