Based within a local, privately owned retail company in East London, our client is seeking a manager who operates with an entrepreneurial mindset, taking ownership of the store's success as if it were their own business.
Responsibilities:
- Operations: Managing daily opening/closing, cash-ups, and bank deposits.
- Financial Performance: Handling store budgets, maximizing profitability, and meeting sales targets.
- Inventory: Overseeing pricing and stock control.
- Customer Excellence: Maintaining a high-standard customer-focused environment by resolving queries and complaints efficiently.
- Staff Management: Recruiting, training, supervising, and appraising staff.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Previous experience within similar role essential.
- Previous experience within retail / clothing environment (advantageous)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Own vehicle advantageous
