TEMPORARY CASHIER POSITION AVAILABLE/NEWTON PARK/PORT ELIZABETH
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our clients team on a temporary basis, with the potential for longer-term opportunities based on performance and business needs. MUST BE willing to work retail hours/week-ends
Requirements:
- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Honest, dependable, and punctual
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure during busy periods
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process cash, card, and electronic payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, and credits where required
- Balance cash drawer at the start and end of each shift
- Provide friendly and professional customer service
- Assist with basic administrative and stock-related tasks when required
- Maintain a clean and organised checkout area
Contract Type: Temporary (with potential for extension)
Start Date: Immediate
Remuneration – Market related (based on experience)
