Job Summary
RETAIL STORE SUPERVISOR/ GQEBERHA – The successful Candidate must be willing to work Retail Hours, Shift work, including weekend and public holidays.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric
- A tertiary qualification in Sales will be advantageous.
- Computer literate with advanced Microsoft Excel skills and Great Plains.
- Valid driver’s licence
- A minimum of 2 years of retail store management experience will be advantageous.
- Prior experience in pricing and margin management over a range of products
- Experience in point-of-sale systems.
- Prior experience in stock control, merchandising, and stock rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer payments accurately using the POS system.
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
- Identify and address customer queries or complaints, taking appropriate corrective action.
- Support the training of new employees when required.
- Clean and replenish shop shelves in line with established procedures.
- Maintain the back stock area in accordance with departmental standards.
- Assist colleagues as needed.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned to support operational requirements.
- Share responsibility for maintaining overall shop cleanliness.
- Understand and comply with customer service quality standards as set by management.
- Provide support to other departments when required.
- Adhere to organisational and departmental policies and procedures.
Remuneration – R13,000 + benefits
