Our client is seeking an Intermediate Automation Tester to support the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing frameworks across multiple engineering teams. The role focuses on building reliable and reusable automation solutions that improve product quality, testing efficiency, and release confidence.

Working closely with QA and engineering teams, you will contribute to automation standards, CI/CD integration, and testing infrastructure improvements while helping drive consistent engineering quality across platforms and services.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain shared automated testing frameworks. • Build reusable automation components for APIs, services, and application platforms. • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines. • Ensure automated tests execute reliably across development and staging environments. • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve testing infrastructure and DevOps execution pipelines. • Implement and maintain automation standards aligned with QA best practices. • Leverage AI-assisted development techniques to improve automation efficiency and debugging. • Evaluate AI-generated automation outputs for reliability and correctness.

What You Bring

• Matric / Grade 12. • Diploma, Degree, or relevant certification such as ISEB or ISTQB. • 3–5 years of experience in software testing and automation. • Experience building or contributing to automation frameworks. • Strong understanding of API, service, and platform automation testing. • Experience integrating testing into CI/CD environments. • Exposure to version control systems such as Git. • Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Katalon, WebDriver.io, Protractor, Grafana, REST, and SOAP. • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability. • Collaborative approach with strong attention to detail.
