What Do You Need?
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science, Media or related field
Master’s degree advantageous but not essential
Experience
6–8 years’ experience within retail, marketing, media, or retail media
Experience leading and managing a team within insights or media planning
Strong exposure to senior stakeholders across multiple organisations
Knowledge & Skills
Deep understanding of marketing theory and media planning
Strong knowledge of digital and channel measurement solutions
Solid understanding of retail and retail media landscapes
Ability to interpret data and convert it into actionable insight
Strong commercial acumen and critical thinking ability
Confident communicator with emotional maturity and resilience
AI and data fluency
What Will You Do?
Insight & Planning Leadership
Deliver integrated, data-led reporting, analysis, and measurement solutions
Drive an insight-led culture across the business
Develop training materials using campaign performance insights
Support reporting processes to ensure accuracy and KPI alignment
Contribute to roadmap development and innovation opportunities
Strategic Insight Delivery
Deliver actionable recommendations to clients and internal teams
Use advanced analytics (including AI modelling and econometrics) to generate holistic solutions
Oversee post-campaign reporting and methodology design
Lead bespoke research and evaluation projects
Collaborate across data, marketing, and client teams
Media Planning Oversight
Oversee the development of robust, insight-driven retail media campaign plans
Develop frameworks to ensure effective planning and measurement across campaigns
Challenge briefs where necessary to improve outcomes
Client & Market Leadership
Build strong, trusted client relationships
Proactively manage and resolve planning or insight challenges
Stay ahead of retail media trends and competitive dynamics
Share market insights internally and represent the business at industry events
