Overview
Our client in the Retail Sector is seeking an Electrical Specialist to join their team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for overseeing customers' electrical needs.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- 2 years’ experience in a hardware environment, specifically in electrical, lighting, and wiring
- Must have excellent product knowledge in the electrical retail field
Job Responsibilities
- Assisting customers with electrical queries, including wiring, tools to use, and lighting
- Understand electrical components, switches, cables, DB boards, circuit breakers, light fittings, and bulbs
- Drive sales
- Upsell customers on products purchased and recommending add – on products
- Handle customer queries from the time the query is received to its close out with the customer
Key Competencies / Skills
- Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Must be capable of multitasking and managing diverse customers in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong customer service skills
