About the Role
Livewell is looking for a reliable and hands-on Preventative Maintenance Assistant to join their team in Somerset West. The successful candidate will assist with general maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the facilities, equipment and grounds are kept in good working condition.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with routine preventative maintenance and repairs.
Carry out basic handyman and maintenance tasks.
Assist with painting, plumbing, electrical and general building maintenance where required.
Inspect facilities and report maintenance issues.
Assist with maintaining equipment, tools and property.
Keep work areas clean, safe and organised.
Support the maintenance team with day-to-day tasks.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
Follow all health and safety procedures.
Requirements
Previous experience in general maintenance, handyman work or a similar role.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, painting and general repairs.
Good practical and problem-solving skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Good communication skills.
A valid driver's licence would be advantageous.
