Are you an assertive, highly experienced technical leader looking for your next challenge? A leading manufacturing company is seeking a strong Workshop Supervisor to oversee daily workshop operations, lead maintenance teams, and ensure maximum operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and direct daily activities within the mechanical and electrical workshop.
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of artisans and technicians, maintaining high standards of discipline and productivity.
Enforce strict compliance with safety guidelines, quality standards, and operating protocols.
Coordinate preventative maintenance schedules, breakdown repairs, and equipment overhauls.
Diagnose complex mechanical or electrical machinery faults to minimize downtime.
Drive continuous operational improvements and maintain clear accountability across the team.
Requirements
Trade Test: Qualified Fitter OR Electrician (Red Seal / Recognized Trade Test is mandatory).
Experience: Minimum of 20 years hands-on technical experience in workshop environments.
Strong, authoritative leadership skills — able to stand firm, manage team dynamics effectively, and maintain a high standard of accountability.
Industry Experience: Previous experience within the concrete manufacturing or processing industry is highly beneficial.
Proven track record in maintenance management, equipment troubleshooting, and team leadership.
