Wellsite Supervisor (Integrated Solutions)
The Role
As a Wellsite Supervisor, you are the person in charge on location. You serve as the primary point of contact for the customer and the lead for all our operations on the rig, whether that’s drilling, completions, or workovers.
This isn't a desk job; you’re the one making sure the well program is executed safely, on time, and within budget. You’ll be the bridge between the customer, the rig contractors, and our internal teams, ensuring everyone is on the same page and the job is done right.
What the work looks like
Leading Safety on Site
You are the final authority on HSE at the wellsite. It’s your job to make sure safety isn't just a policy on paper, but a real practice on the ground. You’ll lead morning safety meetings, manage emergency response systems, and foster a culture where the crew looks out for one another.
Managing the Day-to-Day
You’ll oversee the technical and operational side of the project. This means:
Supervising operations according to the well program and making sure we stay on track.
Planning rig moves and checking that the next location is ready to go so we don’t lose time.
Coordinating with different contractors and product lines to keep the operation moving smoothly.
Logistics and Reporting
A big part of this role is staying organized. You’ll be responsible for:
Getting equipment and people to the site when they’re needed and sending them back as soon as they aren't (to keep costs down).
Keeping accurate Daily Drilling Reports (DDRs) and tracking KPIs.
Ensuring all gear on site is in good condition and that everyone has the right certifications to be there.
Technical Support and Coaching
You are the first line of support for our field personnel. When equipment fails or things get complicated, you’ll lead the investigation, find a solution, and make sure we capture those "lessons learned" for the next well.
Who you are
We need someone who can lead a team under pressure and communicate clearly with both the customer and the crew. Specifically, we’re looking for:
A Natural Leader: Someone who can run a meeting, coach junior staff, and hold everyone on site to a high standard.
Operationally Sharp: You understand the technical side of drilling and workovers and know how to manage resources like time and equipment efficiently.
Detail-Oriented: You take pride in accurate reporting and thorough handovers so that the supervisor coming in behind you knows exactly what’s happening.
A Problem Solver: When things go sideways, you stay calm and focused on getting the project back on track safely.
The Setup
Reporting: You’ll report to the Integrated Solutions Field Superintendent.
Responsibility: You’ll have the support of a Remote Operations Center and our technical engineering teams, but the day-to-day execution on the rig is your call.
If you’re ready to take ownership of a site and drive high-level performance without compromising on safety, we’d like to hear from you.
