Integrated Solutions Wellsite Supervisor
The Role
As a Wellsite Supervisor, you are the primary point of contact on location. You’re the person everyone looks to when decisions need to be made, and you’re responsible for representing the company’s interests while managing the technical and human side of the rig.
It’s a big job. You’ll be overseeing drilling, completion, and workover operations, making sure everything is done safely, on time, and within budget. You aren't just watching from the sidelines; you are leading the crew, managing contractors, and keeping a close eye on the well program to ensure we’re delivering exactly what the customer needs.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading the Safety Culture
You are the lead authority for HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) on-site. This isn't just about following rules; it’s about actively promoting a culture where safety is the priority. You’ll lead morning meetings, handle emergency response planning, and make sure every person on that rig is working in a way that gets them home safe.
Managing Operations & People
You’ll be the bridge between the customer, the drilling contractor, and our internal teams. This involves:
Supervising day-to-day well activities to ensure they align with the program.
Planning rig moves and making sure the next location is ready to go before the trucks even arrive.
Keeping the paperwork straight, from Daily Drilling Reports (DDRs) to equipment tracking and personnel certifications.
Problem Solving & Logistics
When things don’t go as planned, you’re the first line of support. You’ll investigate equipment failures, capture "lessons learned" to prevent future issues, and provide technical guidance to the crew. You’ll also manage the logistics of getting tools and people to the site exactly when they’re needed (and getting them off-site the moment they aren't).
Who We’re Looking For
We need someone who is as good with people as they are with technical specs. You should be someone who:
Has real-world experience: You understand the complexities of drilling and completions and can navigate the "grey areas" of field operations.
Can lead a room: You’re comfortable running meetings, coaching junior staff, and holding contractors accountable.
Is organized but flexible: You can handle the administrative side of the job (reports, KPI tracking, handovers) without losing sight of the active operations.
Takes ownership: You treat the project like it’s your own, ensuring we’re efficient with resources and strict on compliance.
The Logistics
Reporting: You’ll report directly to the Integrated Solutions Field Superintendent.
Communication: You’ll provide detailed handovers to your relief to ensure that when you leave the site, the next supervisor has everything they need to succeed.
If you’re a seasoned supervisor who prefers being in the thick of the action and knows how to get a job done right without cutting corners, we want to talk to you.
