Job Summary
Boy Louw Inc. is a boutique law firm, specialising in corporate, commercial and property law.
This is an ideal opportunity for a financially qualified person with excellent organisational & coordinating skills and outstanding interpersonal skills who can function independently and take initiative.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- The full Financial Management function (budgets, bookkeeping, payments, insurance, audit, statutory payments (tax), salaries etc.)
- HR Management (personnel files administration, leave, employment contracts, disciplinary matters etc.)
- Office Management (oversee reception, vehicle(s), archive, office space, standard operating procedures etc.)
- IT & Systems management
- Compliance management (FICA, Legal Practice Council and other)
The ideal person will meet the following requirements:
- BCom / BAcc degree
- Completed articles
- At least 5 years’ post articles experience
- Professional registration SAIPA/SAICA (advantageous)
- Previous experience at a Law Firm (advantageous)
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office)
- Experience on the Ghost Practice (legal accounting platform) (advantageous)
- Excellent computer skills (Word / Outlook / Ghost Practice)
- Outstanding emotional intelligence / interpersonal skills
- Excellent ability to manage conflict effectively
- Outstanding professional communication skills in both Afrikaans and English (oral and written)
- Above average organisational and coordinating skills
- High levels of accuracy and a detail-oriented work style
