Who are we looking for: A Social Media Strategist with a potent mix of creativity, strategic thinking and a passion for all things automotive.
What will you do:
- Strategy development: Create and execute social media strategies aligned with overall business and brand objectives, considering the target audience, brand identity and market trends
- Goal setting: Collaborate closely with client to identify social media goals, define target audiences, and develop a clear roadmap for engagement and growth
- Content creation: Craft compelling and brand-specific content with the team that resonates with automotive enthusiasts, from daily posts to interactive campaigns, across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube
- Campaign management: Plan, launch and manage social media campaigns across multiple platforms to increase brand awareness, user engagement and conversions
- Analytics and reporting: Track, analyse, and report on key metrics using social media management tools to measure the performance of campaigns, derive insights and optimize strategies
- Budgets: Manage social media advertising budgets and campaigns, optimizing for performance and lead generation
- Trend monitoring and social listening: Monitor automotive trends and engage in social listening to inform content strategies, ensuring relevance and thought leadership in the digital automotive space
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, content creators, designers and sales to ensure consistency in messaging and brand representation across all platforms
What do you need:
- Proven experience as a Social Media Strategist, automotive experience a plus
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices for each platform
- Proficiency in using social media management tools for scheduling, analytics, and reporting
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive insights, and adjust strategies accordingly
- Strong understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics and SEO strategies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a creative mindset
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
- A portfolio that demonstrates an ability to create compelling content, automotive-related a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or relevant field is preferred
- Certifications in social media marketing would be a plus
- Valid passport for overseas travel
