A upmarket full service restaurant brand. The brand has two successful and well-established restaurants, one near Edenvale and one in Sandton. A third will be opening in Dubai. The restaurants serve a top quality dining experience to its patrons for Lunch and Dinner Service.
Our Client seeks a Quality Restaurant Manager who is versatile in skills set mostly in Front of House Restaurant Management. Previous experience within a standalone full service upmarket restaurant is required. This role will suit an individual who is used to and willing to work the irregular hours that the industry demands. There is a lot of growth potential within the brand as the Owner has 2 restaurants currently, one in the Edenvale area, one in Sandton and a third opening up in Dubai. There are therefore real prospects of the role developing into an internationally based one once you prove yourself. Standard Restaurant Management duties will apply. Ensure service within the restaurant is of a high standard and its patrons are well looked after.
Relevant Food Service/Hospitality Qualifications are an advantage but not essential if well experienced and with the right personality and work ethic.
Great Problem solving and customer engagement skills. Ability to lead and manage a team (some staff have been with the company for many years) so winning them over and establishing your footprint in the organization. Computer literate on any restaurant Point of Sales system. Strong administratively and operationally. Able to work well with the kitchen in order to get food expedited well and in a timely fashion.
Salary / Package
R20,000-R35,000 depending on experience/capability
