Job Purpose
Lead the HR function to drive strategic people initiatives, ensure compliance with labour laws, and support organisational growth through effective talent management, employee engagement, and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
Oversee full-cycle recruitment and succession planning for senior roles
Lead performance management, talent development, and career progression programs
Manage compensation, benefits, and reward structures to attract and retain talent
Provide guidance on labour law compliance, employment contracts, and company policies
Lead employee relations, grievance handling, and disciplinary processes
Champion employee engagement, organisational culture, and change management initiatives
Prepare HR reports, analytics, and metrics to support decision-making
Mentor and develop the HR team to enhance capability and performance
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field
7+ years’ experience in HR, with at least 3 years in a managerial or senior HR leadership role
Strong knowledge of South African labour law and HR best practices
Proven experience in strategic HR planning, talent management, and organisational development
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Proficient in HR systems, MS Office, and reporting tools
