Our client, a stable Employer in the Manufacturing/ Forestry industry is seeking to URGENTLY appoint a dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for their KZN Midlands Operation. KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS : At minimum a (CA)SA or CFA or Equivalent qualification. At least 5-10 years in a CFO or Senior Financial Managerial experience is essential. Having held a position, in the forestry industry, or a manufacturing environment will prove to be a distinct advantage. Possess a track record of developing and implementing financial processes and internal controls. Possess effective people management skills. Be adept at evaluating financial viability and forecasting performance as well as presenting such reports to top management and directors. Have intensive knowledge of and experience with working with accounting software Xero, Pastel or Accpac. Have a strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management, general finance, and budgeting. Have experience in Supply Chain Management including logistics (import and export). Have excellent communication skills verbal & written. Have excellent attention to detail. Have Multitasking skills. Be able to demonstrate accurate working ability and numeric calculations. Sound interpersonal skills. Highly developed problem-solving skills. KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsibility for managing the financial functions of the company, including planning and tracking cash flow and financial planning as well as analysing the company''s financial strengths and weaknesses.
