Select color schemes, furniture, textiles, lighting, artwork, and accessories. Source and purchase décor items, furnishings, and materials. Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other professionals involved in the project. Arrange and style interior spaces to achieve desired look and feel. Provide awareness of industry trends, products, and innovations. Manage projects timelines and budgets to ensure timely completion. The ideal candidate must have a formal qualification in interior decorating or related field. Proven experience as an interior decorator, with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Ability to manage multiple projects. Strong sense of style, color, and special relationships. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Creativity and artistic ability. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Knowledge of current interior design trends and materials. Ability to work within a budget and meet deadlines. Experience with design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Sketchup) is a plus.
STORES ADMINISTRATOR – 5 STAR BOUTIQUE GAME LODGE AND SPA – Live in position – based in Limpopo
We are seeking a detailed-oriented and organized Stores Administrator to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the managing inventory, overseeing the procurement process, and ensuring that all supplies are available to meet the operational needs of the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate records of stock levels, track inventory usage, and conduct regular stock audits to ensure accuracy.
Coordinate with various hotel departments to identify supply needs, place orders with vendors, and track deliveries to ensure timely receipt of goods.
Prepare and maintain inventory reports, purchase orders and supplier invoices. Ensure all documentation is complete and up to date.
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing and terms, and evaluate suppliers performance.
Monitor stock levels of all items, ensure proper storage conditions and manage stock rotation to minimize waste.
Provide support to hotel departments by fulfilling supply requests and ensuring they have the necessary materials to operate efficiently.
Ensure compliance with hotel standards and procedures, as well as local regulations related to inventory and supply management.
Work closely with the finance department to manage budgets and forecasts related to inventory and supplies.
Minimum requirements
High school diploma or equivalent, degree in business administration, hospitality management or a related field if preferred.
Previous experience in inventory management environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic understanding of procurement processes and supplier management.
