Position Type: Full-time
Work Schedule: Primarily weekdays, with some weekend requirements.
Position Summary:
We are in search of a dedicated HR Generalist proficient in PaySpace, Clocking systems, and skilled in managing staff timetables. The ideal candidate will possess exemplary relationship management skills, be adept at resolving on-floor issues, and showcase superior organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Relations:
- Serve as the primary contact for staff regarding HR concerns and inquiries.
- Mediate and resolve employee issues and conflicts on the floor promptly and effectively.
- Foster a positive work environment and maintain high employee morale.
2. HR Operations
- Utilize the PaySpace software for payroll and HR administrative functions.
- Administer the ERS Clocking system for accurate time and attendance recording.
- Manage and oversee staff timetables, ensuring optimal staffing and efficient scheduling.
- Coordinate the complete recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.
- Conduct regular employee performance reviews and manage talent development initiatives.
3. Organizational Skills:
- Organize company events, training sessions, and workshops.
- Maintain up-to-date and organized HR records, both digital and physical, ensuring compliance and data privacy.
4. Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain robust relationships with employees across all levels, fostering open communication.
- Collaborate with department leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.
5. Continuous Improvement:
- Assess HR processes and policies routinely, recommending improvements or modifications as required.
- Stay abreast of the latest HR trends, laws, and best practices to ensure company compliance and competitiveness.
6. Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a generalist role within HR.
- Proven experience with PaySpace and the ERS Clocking system.
- Proficient in managing staff timetables and schedules.
- Familiarity with labour laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
