SOCIAL SCIENCES TEACHER – CAPS | CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
Location: South Africa Start Date: January 2027
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Social Sciences Teacher to join a well-established Christian school.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality English lessons within the CAPS curriculum, while contributing positively to the academic and Christian ethos of the school.
✨ Requirements:
Relevant teaching qualification (BEd, PGCE or equivalent)
SACE registration is essential
Experience teaching Social sciences so both Geography and History
Strong knowledge and practical experience of the CAPS curriculum
Excellent communication and classroom-management skills
A passion for English and for developing learners' academic potential
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a school team
Commitment to the values and ethos of a Christian school
? Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Social Sciences lessons
Assess, monitor and report on learner progress
Prepare learners for CAPS assessments and examinations
Create a positive, structured and stimulating classroom environment
Participate in school activities and contribute to the broader school community
Support the school's Christian values and educational philosophy
