Job Summary
- Planning weekly play-based lessons (songs, sensory play, storytelling, motor skills activities)
- Supervising children all day (feeding, playtime, naps, hygiene support depending on age group)
- Observing development and recording progress
- Doing basic assessments (speech, behaviour, milestones tracking)
- Keeping classroom safe, clean, and structured
- Managing behaviour in a calm, child-friendly way
- Setting up learning areas (creative corners, reading areas, outdoor play)
- Communicating with parents about progress or concerns
- Working as part of a team with assistants and other educators
Requirements
- Matric + BEd or equivalent qualification
- 0 - 1 years experience
