- Support teacher development and training
- Handle staff performance issues
Curriculum and learning
- Oversee what is taught and how it’s delivered
- Make sure lessons match curriculum requirements
- Track student performance and improvement
Student welfare and discipline
- Maintain discipline and safety
- Handle serious behaviour issues
- Ensure emotional and physical wellbeing of learners
School operations
- Manage budgets and resources
- Oversee school facilities
- Make sure rules and policies are followed
Communication and community
- Work with parents regularly
- Deal with complaints and concerns
- Represent the school to the wider community
Requirements:
- Matric + BEd degree or equivalent
- 2 - 3 years experience in a management position
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience within ECD environment
