Duties:
Engage in classroom teaching to facilitate purposeful learning progression
Prepare lessons using diverse approaches and assessment methods
Plan, coordinate, evaluate, and report on learners’ academic progress
Create a classroom environment that stimulates positive learning experiences
Utilise learners’ own experiences as valuable resources
Cater for the educational and general welfare of learners
Assist in identifying and supporting learners with special needs
Organise and conduct extra-curricular and co-curricular activities
Participate in school sports and cultural programmes
Manage academic activities and resources effectively
Perform administrative duties in line with PAM guidelines
Participate in appraisal processes and stay informed on educational developments
Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure continuous learner progress
Engage in departmental committees, seminars, and training sessions
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of teaching experience
Relevant teaching qualifications for Grade R and Grade 1
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Dedicated to child care and early childhood education
Familiarity with the following:
Classroom management and curriculum planning
Inclusive education strategies
Educational assessment and reporting
