• Some knowledge of the BBBEE landscape in South Africa, and the ability to learn and adopt new approaches to corporate fundraising that include BBBEE partnerships in a variety of areas including: SED (Socio-Economic Development), ED & SuD (Enterprise and Supplier Development) and SD (Skills Development). Supporting black stockbrokers, consumer education, etc.
• The individual should be highly-driven, self-reliant, high-energy, committed, experienced, enduringly optimistic, and able to work within a team environment and manage others where necessary. Ensure alignment to mission and be passionate about helping marginalized individuals improve their lives

• To lead a team of teachers/lecturers with regards to:
• Effective and efficient implementation of the required curriculum.
• Putting systems and processes in place for the effective teaching and the monitoring thereof.
• Provide support and assist in the establishment of processes for effective Assessment and the recording thereof.
• Assisting the teachers to support and adequately prepare the learners for the demands of the course material.
• Help teachers maximise their teaching ability.
• To provide exemplary leadership for the students to emulate with regards to developing a strong work ethic
• The consistent display of good etiquette, good manners and a professional dress code.
• Monitoring and reporting on student achievement.
• Listening to the concerns of the students and acting on them in a life supporting manner.
• To provide the leadership to identify the needs and requirements for the successful completion of the course material
• Ensure that academic policies and curriculum are followed
• Meeting with parents, teachers, students and administrators on a regular basis for problem resolution
• Enforcing and maintaining discipline as and when required.
• Creating an atmosphere free of any bias in which the students can achieve.
• Teaching of certain NC(V) classes in ICT (if necessary)

• Minimum of a Post-Graduate qualification in Education or similar course of study
• Registered with the SACE
• At least 4 years-experience working with the NC(V) curriculum in ICT
• ICT certification will be advantageous
• Knowledge and understanding on the Umalusi and DHET requirements of the NC(V) curriculum and requirements
• Understanding of NC(V) Assessment and Moderation Process
• High level of communication skills
