Job Summary
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our aircraft sales operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation sales, a deep understanding of the aircraft market, and a proven ability to build client relationships and close high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets for new and pre-owned aircraft.
• Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with buyers, brokers, aircraft owners, and operators.
• Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline from lead generation through to closing.
• Negotiate terms and close sales transactions, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and internal policies.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and technical teams to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform pricing strategies and sales tactics.
• Attend industry events, trade shows, and client meetings domestically and internationally as required.
• Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates to senior management.
• Manage and mentor a team of junior sales staff (if applicable).
Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Aviation Management, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in aircraft sales or high-value asset sales.
• Strong understanding of aircraft types, values, and the aviation sales process (including documentation, escrow, and registration).
• Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Attributes
• Existing network within the aviation industry (operators, brokers, OEMs, etc.).
• Multilingual skills are a plus.
• FAA or EASA aviation certifications (pilot license, maintenance background, etc.) are an advantage.
