Job Summary
A well-established medical practice in the Radiokop, Roodepoort area is seeking a Temporary Medical Receptionist to assist from 9 February 2026 for a period of 2–4 weeks, depending on circumstances.
This is a great short-term opportunity for an experienced medical receptionist who is professional, organised, and able to step in confidently.
Position Details:
- Temporary position
- Start date: 9 February 2026
- Duration: 2–4 weeks
- Salary: R16,000 – R17,000 per month (depending on experience)
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Front desk reception duties
- Answering and managing telephone calls
- Booking and managing patient appointments
- Patient invoicing and quotations
- Filing and administrative support
- General practice support and patient communication
Requirements:
- Previous medical reception experience (essential)
- Strong computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills
- Well-presented and professional
- Honest, reliable, and punctual
- Able to work under pressure
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
