An established organisation within the IT and business systems space is looking for an
Intermediate Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of medium to large-scale projects. This role offers the opportunity to work across strategic initiatives, collaborating closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors.
You’ll be responsible for managing projects end-to-end—from planning and execution through to monitoring and closure—ensuring delivery is on time, within scope and budget, and aligned to quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full project lifecycle across multiple concurrent IT and business system projects
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, charters, and resource allocations
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Lead stakeholder engagement, workshops, and status reporting to ensure alignment and transparency
- Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, SDLC processes, and quality standards
- Track project progress, budgets, and performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage vendor deliverables effectively
Job Experience & Skills Required / Ideal Candidate Profile
Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner, or Agile certification advantageous
Experience:- 3–6 years’ experience managing IT or business system projects end-to-end
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and medium to large-scale projects
- Experience working within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments
Skills:- Proficiency in Jira, MS Project, or equivalent tools
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
- Financial understanding of project budgets and forecasting
Advantageous:- Manufacturing or supply chain industry experience
