Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse business processes across departments and identify automation opportunities.
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Apply AI and machine learning techniques to enhance business processes and decision-making.
- Train, deploy, monitor, and optimise machine learning models and AI-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and other departments to implement seamless automation initiatives.
- Provide support for automation systems, including software updates, testing, patching, and troubleshooting.
- Continuously improve existing automation processes and identify new opportunities for optimisation.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, automation trends, AI developments, and industry best practices.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, Automation, or a related field.
- Proven experience in automation development, process optimisation, or intelligent automation initiatives.
- Knowledge of AI, machine learning concepts, and automation technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse business processes and implement effective automation solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience supporting automation platforms, including testing, updates, and maintenance.
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies, automation tools, and industry trends.
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Must be able to work on-site in Johannesburg; this is not a remote position.
- Comfortable working across multiple business entities within a larger group environment.
