Our Client a market leader in the manufacturing industry is seeking to employ an experienced Warranty Administrator to join their team based in Spartan, Johannesburg.
Role Overview
The Warranty Administrator is responsible for the accurate processing and management of warranty claims for commercial vehicles.
This role ensures compliance with manufacturer standards, supports workshop operations, and facilitates timely reimbursement of warranty-related work.
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Experience in automotive or commercial/truck workshop environment
- Knowledge of warranty procedures and OEM processes
- Computer literacy (MS Excel and workshop systems)
Responsibilities:
Warranty Claims Administration
- Process and submit warranty claims for repairs and parts
- Verify job cards, invoices, and technician reports for accuracy
- Capture claims on OEM systems
- Monitor claim status and follow up on outstanding or rejected claims
- Correct and resubmit rejected claims
Compliance and Quality Control
- Ensure all warranty repairs meet manufacturer standards
- Validate labour hours and parts claimed
- Maintain compliance with warranty policies and procedures
Stakeholder Coordination
- Liaise with technicians, service advisors, and parts department
- Respond to internal and customer warranty queries
- Support workshop team with warranty-related processes
Reporting and Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate and organised warranty records
- Track warranty payments and ensure timely reimbursement
- Identify repeat failures and report trends to management
- Assist with internal and OEM warranty audits
Workshop Support
- Ensure warranty store is neat and organised
- Ensure parts are labelled, tracked, and scrapped when required
- Assist service advisors when needed
