Internal Sales Clerk – Electrical Industry
Midvaal Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of our client for a driven and experienced Internal Sales Clerk to join their team within the electrical industry.
We are looking for a target-driven candidate with strong internal sales experience and solid knowledge of electrical equipment and products. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure, communicate professionally with clients, and work effectively within a team environment.
Salary
R15 000 – R25 000 per month
Salary will depend on experience, references, and overall suitability for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle internal sales and customer enquiries
- Prepare and follow up on quotations
- Process customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Work towards sales targets and deadlines
- Liaise with suppliers and clients regarding stock and orders
- Provide technical product assistance where required
- Support the sales team with administrative and operational duties
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ internal sales experience within the electrical industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical equipment is essential
- Previous experience in electrical sales environments is highly advantageous
- Experience using Microsoft Teams and Sage X3 will be a strong advantage
- Must be target-driven and able to perform under pressure
- Own reliable transport is essential
- Must reside in the Vaal, Alberton, Germiston, or surrounding areas
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must be a team player
