A leading international manufacturing company in Belgium is looking for experienced Millwrights and Electromechanical Technicians to join its growing technical team.

As a Millwright / Electromechanical Technician, you'll be responsible for maintaining and improving modern manufacturing equipment to ensure maximum production reliability and efficiency.

You'll work within a highly skilled technical team, carrying out preventative maintenance, troubleshooting breakdowns, and supporting the installation of new production equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing mechanical and electrical maintenance on industrial production equipment

• Diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults

• Carrying out preventative maintenance to minimise downtime

• Maintaining motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps, compressors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Assisting with basic PLC fault-finding and troubleshooting

• Supporting the installation and commissioning of new machinery

• Working closely with production teams to improve equipment reliability and plant performance

• Maintaining accurate maintenance documentation

• Following strict health and safety standards while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

• A recognised Millwright, Electromechanical, or equivalent Trade Test

• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding experience

• Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment

• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics

• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, drives, and industrial equipment

• A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills

• The ability to work independently and as part of a technical team

• Basic PLC troubleshooting

• Experience with automated production equipment

• Continuous improvement or preventative maintenance programmes

Afrikaans proficiency is essential for this opportunity.

• Qualified artisan with a recognized Trade Test

• Willing and able to relocate to Belgium

• Valid passport (or willing to obtain one)

• Available to work day or shift schedules, depending on the manufacturing site
